As much as I hate it, I have to admit that I am freakin turning 22 years old in less than a month time. I'll be coming up with my birthday wishlist soon but before I do that, I'm going to compile a list of my impractical and out-of-the-world "wants" first! Just for fun. =)
I am doing this to keep a little record of stuffs I dream of having. Please don't take me seriously because I know it's crazy.
1) Fujifilm Instax Mini 7s

.jpg)
Why I want it: Polaroids are fun! And of course, the camara itself and the films are super cute! The films are small too and can hence be conveniently slotted into wallets.
Why I find it impractical: I already have a polaroid camera from Mel which I can hardly use because the films are damn expensive?! $2 per piece and my heart aches each time I take a photo. I'll only gladly shoot everyone in sight if I have an endless supply of films that cost $0.10/piece. On top of that, the picture do fade over time too.
Price : Around $150 for the camera. For the films, around $18 for a pack of 10!
2) Digital SLR

Why I want it: Photos taken from compact digital camaras can NEVER look better than one taken from an SLR. I swear my next camera would be an SLR! No more chio but shitty compact digital cameras! Unless the photos are proven to be better than that of an SLR.
Why I find it impractical: It's huge and bulky, difficult to carry around, difficult to do self-shots or self-timer shots without a tripod. I don't really know much about SLRs yet, shall only wish for one when I have learnt more about it somehow.
Price: Thousands!
okay... enough of cameras...
3) Wii + Wii Fit

Why I want it: Because it's freaking fun?! Can exercise using Wii Fit too! Losing weight through fun and games, isn't that one of the best thing in the world?
Why I find it impractical: Actually, there's nothing impractical about this console. The only problem here is the price I guess. Another problem could be the space constraints around the TV area although I can't wait to kick my brother's Xbox and Xbox 360 consoles away! =P
Price: Wii - around $450 (excluding $80 to $150 for modified versions). Wii Fit - around $200.
4) Bicycle

Why I want it: I've wanted a bicycle ever since I learnt how to cycle one at the age of 7 but my dad refused to buy for me because he knew the bicyle would just rot at some pathetic corner. I don't think so as I would love to cycle around the neighbourhood because I hate to jog. It's another way to move around more and shed some calories although everyone around me would still tell me otherwise. "jogging is still the best way... blah blah blah" *roll eyes*
Why I find it impractical: I don't know how often I will use it. It's kinda boring to cycle alone because I don't have much friends staying in the east, let alone any that will be crazy enough to cycle around with me. It might really just rot away at some lonely corner in my basement carpark.
Price: I have no idea. $100-300?
5) Louis Vuitton Monogram Canvas Neverfull GM
Why I want it: Because it's an LV? It's huge and my ideal kind of bag. No zip. Puurrrrrfect and I bet it smells great. -_-" Why I find it impractical: Because I don't need an LV. Not yet at least (or I might never "need" one).
Price: $1090 I think?
6) The New 13-inch MacBook

Why I want it: As much as I hate the sickening typical Mac users, I do hope to own one because I wish to meddle around more with graphics, videos and music. People who really knows me well will know why I would need a Mac.
Why I find it impractical: Because my laptop is still very very much alive and kicking although I want to spit on it for its pathetic specifications and battery life. I seriously won't know what to do to this laptop if a new one suddenly appears. The high-defination display and inbuilt Altec Lansing speakers are too much of a shame to give up on when they are still working perfectly fine.
Price: $2588 (2.4GHz and 250GB hard drive)
7) Air Ticket to Brunei

Why I want it: To visit Mel of course! He probably won't be coming back till September and it's only January now. =(
Why I find it impractical: I will probably feel even worse after going because I will be so painful to know that the next meeting will be in another few months time yet again. Also, it'll only be just a few days but the air ticket cost as much as $500+ already! The hotel stay isn't exactly cheap too. Not very worth the price I would say, although yes lah, can see Mel. It's quite a dilemmic situation to think of! Gah!
Price: As mentioned above, around $500 per tix for both Singapore Airlines and Royal Brunei Airlines. This is the only 2 airlines that flies there. That's the shittiest thing.
===
Alright, I guess that's about all. Shall compile a real "down to earth" wishlist soon. =P
