Warning: Slightly Lengthy Entry
Thursday:
KTV-ed at TOP ONE with the girls(minus Candy). I still love the sound system although the room they gave us was slightly disappointing. They gave us a small room, probably for 2 pax and there is no "dry ice" machine in the room! The drinks still taste rather horrid as usual(except for the very 1st time I went).
Their speed of updating new songs are still pretty damn slow I would say. That's one big letdown apart from the drinks.
Had a nice little catch up and some updates on the BKK trip.
Friday:
School made me really damn stressed out, this is going to be a HELL semester for me! I must really be damn "ON" this sem like what Zahid says. No kidding man.
Met WQ and SY after my night class(10pm) for my very first meal of the day at Popeyes T3! Sinful but I feel damn 幸福(xing fu) at the same time! haha. I was suffering in hunger for the whole day prior to that meal lor! That feeling of eating such happy food over an ultra empty stomach is just pure shiokness. hahaha. Thank goodness WQ drove if not I might really just give up and alight somewhere along the way to eat. Imagine having to travel from City Hall all the way to Changi Airport on the MRT with an angry growling stomach and passing by food heavens like Geylang and Bedok! Thanks WQ!
Had a nice little catch up too.
P.S. I Love Changi Airport.
Saturday:
Met up with SK and Fook for Haji Lane(actually SK and I were just merely accompanying fook la). We didn't complain because we are the nicest friends he can ever have. Haha. That place is definintely quite happening on weekends! All the Shi-Sha smokers and the many youngsters lurking around, probably also because it's pre-CNY. The weather rocks too! I didn't pespire a single bit this time round! Many girls were even wearing those faux leather jacket which is in style now. Great chance to wear it isn't it! Hope BKK has it! I am looking for a nice suave leather jacket! (not the waxy wet oily looking type of course)
Well actually, apart from being the nice friend, my plan was to buy some blings from Arab Street to pimp my DS's case but the shop closes at freaking 5pm on Saturdays and Public holidays! How LOGICAL. Went home empty-handed but it was alright because we had a great dinner and chill out session at BluJaz! I must repeat this, I absolutely love the weather lately! It's so windy and cooling if anyone of you haven't notice! I thought it was just me but I've comfirmed my claim with this article on Yahoo! News:
Hope the weather stays! Don't you just love China for "bringing" in so much wind lately? haha. Hope Thailand is still cooling when we get there at the end of the month! Woo hoo!
Oh yah, Fook got himself a pair of jeans for $200++ !!! Goodness, I can never imagine myself spending a 3 digits amount on a single piece of apparel yet. I would rather buy 10 pieces of cheap non-lasting apparels then spend it on just 1 as of now, but yeap, it's a reaaaalllly different type of concept for guys. We buy and throw away while the clothes and shoes guys buy can serve them pretty loyally.
Anyway, I must mention that the shops over at Haji are really cool! Espacially the guy's! I feel so much like dragging Mel over there when he is back! haha! The deco and interiors are really tastefully designed too. I hate the prices of the apparels though. My eyes will just widen in amazement with every single tab. Thank goodness I am going to BKK.
